Welcome to ZEDO e.V.

  • Over 25 Years

    For over 25 years, ZEDO has been serving research, development, and knowledge transfer in the field of information and knowledge processing in technical systems.

  • Legally Registered Association

    ZEDO is organized as a legally registered association according to its statutes. ZEDO has concluded a cooperation agreement with TU Dortmund. According to the cooperation agreement with TU Dortmund, a university professor from TU Dortmund is the chairman of the ZEDO board.

Our Current Innovative Projects

ERA-Net AISOP

H4C Europe

ERA-Net AISOP project focuses on AI-assisted grid situational awareness and operational planning. The objective is to create a decision support system for electrical distribution network operators (DSOs) to aid in decarbonization, supported by advanced digital technology.

The system enhances operational planning in distribution networks with high DER share by integrating AI/ML-based solutions, improved situational awareness, and market incentives. It involves data access, distribution network awareness, decision support, dynamic tariffs, and digital platform integration.

Led by HSLU & ETHZ, this project sees collaboration with partners across Switzerland and Germany. It spans from 2022 to 2025 and is financed by SFOE - ERA-Net Joint Call 2020 on digital transformation for green energy transition.
